Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
Private Sector in the FEMA NRCC PDF 86KB FEMA created a private sector seat in the National Response Coordination Center (NRCC). FEMA is looking at the next 90-Day tour and is prepared to plan, schedule, and commit to future rotations.

National Science Foundation (NSF)
Natural Hazards Engineering Research Infrastructure (2015 - 2019) (NHERI) This solicitation will establish operations of the Natural Hazards Engineering Research Infrastructure (NHERI) for 2015 - 2019. NHERI is the next generation of National Science Foundation (NSF) support for a natural hazards engineering research large facility, replacing the George E. Brown, Jr. Network for Earthquake Engineering Simulation (NEES).  The total anticipated funding amount of $62,000,000 is for up to five years for up to ten awards. Deadline for submitting a full proposal is December 3, 2014.

United States Geological Survey (USGS)
External Research Support USGS will award up to $5 million in grants for earthquake hazards research in 2015.
