90-Day Private Sector Representative Program FEMA's Private Sector Division has created a 90-day rotational private sector seat in the National Response Coordination Center (NRCC) to support Emergency Support Function-15 (External Affairs).

National Science Foundation (NSF)
Natural Hazards Engineering Research Infrastructure (2015–2019) (NHERI) This solicitation will establish operations of the Natural Hazards Engineering Research Infrastructure (NHERI) for 2015–2019. NHERI is the next generation of NSF support for a natural hazards engineering research large facility, replacing the George E. Brown, Jr. Network for Earthquake Engineering Simulation (NEES).  The total anticipated funding amount of $62,000,000 is for up to five years for up to ten awards. The deadline for submitting a full proposal was December 3, 2014.

External Research Support External Research Support issues an annual Program announcement through Grants.gov for competitive proposals for grants and cooperative agreements to support research in earthquake hazards, the physics of earthquakes, earthquake occurrence, and earthquake safety policy.
